One of the pioneers of the belgian new beat and techno scene. De Wulf started in music around 1986 as a DJ/programmer for several local pirate radio stations in the area of Gent. He was mainly interested in music with a strong rhythmical content: new wave funk, electro, European and American experimental post-punk. Not just contenting himself with lining up tracks and commenting on them as radio makers in those days did, he made his own mixes and created a particular live atmosphere during his programmes.

J TONER - (SoulidarityDj's)

Jason started his journey within DJing in the summer of 88...

sparking a passion for music watching his uncle playing clubs and pubs on a citronic Dj console

he would borrow uptempo Disco from the late 70's and record mixes for school friends

In 1990 jason got his first set of technics 1200's on his 15th birthday, by the summer of the the same year he had his first weekly gig as the warm up DJ for a club in northumberland, this was a massive learning curve for a young lad.. Playing house/acid and early rave tunes

The early 90's was also a massive time for dance and hip-hop

finding those original samples and breaks Jason started digging for rare groove and started sampling tracks along side his DJ sets

Mid to late 90's Jason had joined a band (MFUS) and would always play the bands warm up.. digging in the crates for some funk/soul and rare groove

MFUS went on to tour the UK/Europe/Ireland festival scene

After leaving the band in 2002 Jason could now concentrate playing in and around the north east and festivals.. fish quay festival/Male festival/jumping hot club

from late 2010 Jason is one half of the funk/soul duo SoulidarityDj's playing and promoting there own nights and supporting bands like Smoove & Turrell

Jason can also be found as a resident at the Odd furniture gig's around newcastle and gateshead.. This is an open format event that lends its self to old and new house music and some Ibiza classics

currents jason can also be heard at his regular nights at Tynemouth barca-bar and Tiger Hornsby on newcastle quay playing classic house music and Edit
